As the battle between Congress and the BJP continues ahead of the Karnataka elections, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday released a Report Card awarding "F" grade to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In his report card to PM Modi, Gandhi mentions that the prime minister has made "0" contribution towards the state's agriculture and farmers'.

The report card states that the Centre has not made any contribution to the state's government's 8,500 crore farm loan waiver scheme.

It further states that the farmers continue to suffer despite the Prime Minister's crop insurance scheme. It also mentioned that the scheme is benefitting the insurance companies which are making huge profits.

Rahul Gandhi's report card to PM Modi also says that the government does not provide any Minimum Support Price to the farmers.

Gandhi's attack on PM Modi has come a day after the Prime Minister addressed the farmers in the state via the Namo App. In his address to the farmers,' the PM targetted the state government led by Siddaramaiah and claimed that the current government does not care about farmers.

Pitching Yeddyurappa as a possible chief ministerial candidate, the PM said Yeddyurappa is farmers' minister.

He further talked about empowering farmers' and doubling the farmers income by 2022.

Referring to the Budget he said he also called the BJP as pro-farmer.
