She said she had asked the Haryana Police Commissioner for a detailed report on the rapes, but that she had not been satisfied with it.

She then said she had been getting a number of complaints about Haryana policemen. And that they did not know "how to behave with women".

The Haryana rapes have included the gang rape of an 11 year old in Panipat. According to the police, she was strangled to death and then raped again after she was dead.

The three-year-old daughter of a labourer was abducted and allegedly raped by a 14-year-old boy, her neighbour, on Tuesday in Hisar.

A 15 year old was raped and murdered in Kurushetra and her mutilated body was later found a 100 kms away in Jind.
