As the 2024 Lok Sabha elections approach, political parties mocking each other is not new but India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh got creative and used the viral 'moye moye' meme to take a jab at the opposition INDIA bloc.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday (April 3) said that the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance doesn't stand a chance against the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance in the Lok Sabha elections as"desh ki janata moye moye kar degi"(the people will make the Opposition come a cropper in the elections).
The Union Cabinet Minister called the INDIA bloc “an alliance of convenience of some self-seeking Opposition leaders” while campaigning for upcoming general elections in Ghaziabad for sitting MP Atul Garg.
“Several Opposition parties came together to fight and defeat the BJP. However, you can all see that this is an alliance of convenience of some self-seeking Opposition leaders. However, they can’t even face the NDA even if they are united. Is desh ki janata iska bhi moye moye kar degi (the people will make the Opposition come a cropper in the elections),” he said.

It all started with a Serbian song that went viral on TikTok and from there reached other social media platforms. The song titled 'Dzanum' by Serbian singer-songwriter Teya Dora is about nightmares, anguish, and despair. The trend includes people performing 'tragedy to comedy' acts while the hook of this song plays in the background.
