The Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) seasonJaspritBumrah brought the goods for Mumbai Indians as he got the better of Sunil Narine in a stunning show of bowling display. The match at Eden Gardens hadearliermade headlines for delay as rain played spoilsport. However, Bumrah reminded the world why heisone of the best in the business when he dismissed Narine to help Mumbai Indians reduce Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to 157/7 in 16 overs. This also reminded of Glenn Maxwell's dismissal in the BBL where he moved across and was bowled out.

Playing his first ball in the second over, Bumrahās outgoing yorker caught the West Indies batter with surprise as hewas movingtowards the leg side. Considering it was his first ball of the innings, the batter failed to judge the swing on the ball, leaving Narine completely helpless. His Golden Duck saw KKR reduced to 10/2 in the second overhavingalso lost Philip Salt in the first over.
Narine was leftwith ared-faced and had to depart without troubling the scorers as he failed to add to his 461 runs in the tournament.
At the time of writing, KKR had finished their inningswithMumbai set to face a target of 158. Rohit Sharma wasonceagain used as an impact sub andwas called into bat as soon MumbaiIndians were out to bat. He came into bat for Nuwan Tushara and partnered Ishan Kishan at the top of the order.
