Australia vs Bangladesh: Pat Cummins becomes second Australian to claim a T20 World Cup hattrick
Australia's Test and ODI captain Pat Cummins created history during his side's Super 8 clash versus Bangladesh by becoming only the second Aussie, after Brett Lee, to claim a T20 World Cup hat-trick. Cummins achieved the feat during the first ball of the last over after dismissing Towhid Hridoy. In his previous over, he had removed the likes of Mahmudullah and Mehedi Hasan on the last two deliveries. Riding on his 3 for 29, Australia restricted Bangladesh for 140/8 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua on Thursday (June 20, local time). Overall, he became the fourth Australian with a hat-trick in the format.
