Australia's Test and ODI captain Pat Cummins created history during his side's Super 8 clash versus Bangladesh by becoming only the second Aussie, after Brett Lee, to claim a T20 World Cup hat-trick. Cummins achieved the feat during the first ball of thelast over after dismissingTowhid Hridoy. In his previous over, he had removed the likes ofMahmudullah and Mehedi Hasan on the last two deliveries. Riding on his 3for 29, Australia restricted Bangladesh for 140/8 at theSir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua on Thursday (June 20, local time). Overall, he becamethe fourth Australian with a hat-trick in the format.
