India will be playing the second semi-final in Guyana on June 27 in the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup, shall they reach the knockout stage. The news was confirmed by the cricket news website ESPNCricinfo, citing the ICC's playing conditions for the tournament. The semi-final will also not have a reserve day but an extension time of 250 minutes instead of 190 minutes for the first-semi-final and the final with a reserve day.
The main reason behind this could be the timings of the match. The first semi-final will be played in Trinidad at 8:30 pm local time on June 26 which is 6 am in India on June 27. The second semi-final, however, will start at 10:30 am local time which is 8 pm in India. The final, also a day game, will be played in Barbados at 10 am local time on June 29 which is 7:30 pm in India.

As for no reserve day, the explanation could be the time gap between the second semi-final and the final which is just one day.
The game will also require the chasing teams to play at least 10 overs in order to declare a winner in both the semifinals and the final. The conditions for the last three games in the T20 World Cup are unlike rest of the game which require only five overs to be completed in the second innings for a winner to be declared. The tournament starts on June 2 with West Indies and the USA being the joint hosts.
A total of 20 teams have been divided in four groups with India being in group A alongside arch-rivals Pakistan, Canada, Ireland and the host USA. India start their campaign against Ireland on June 5 before playing against Pakistan on June 9, the USA on June 12, and Canada on June 15.
