The debate on 'Mankad' raged on social media leaving the cricket world divided.While many questioned Ashwin's sportsmanship, Hyderabad's David Warner on Monday found a unique way to counter the 'Mankad' threat
During the Punjab vs Hyderabad game at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, the Australian cricketer deliberately took a start but extended himself to make sure that his bat was grounded and well inside the crease.
A video of the same also went viral with users showing it a way to tackle the 'Mankad' threat.
Warner smashed his fourth half-century of IPL 2019, but it was by far his slowest IPL fifty. His half-century came off 49 balls, the most he has taken to reach the 50-run mark in IPL cricket.
