Belgium midfielder Eden Hazard has denied reports that he has agreed to a deal to move from Premier League club Chelsea to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

He said, "There's nothing there. Today I'm focusing on tomorrow's match against Cyprus. That's the only thing in my head now."

The media reports suggested Hazard had agreed to join Real after speaking to their coach, Zinedine Zidane.

Hazard was speaking at a press conference in Cyprus ahead of Belgium's Euro 2020 qualifier in Nicosia on Sunday in which he will win his 100th international cap.

Asked how long he hoped to continue playing for the national side, Hazard said, "I am going to see how, at 28, my body reacts."

"I'm in great form, but with the accumulation of matches, sometimes it gets a bit complicated. Of course one wants to play in the maximum of major tournaments."

"There are the Euros coming up, another World Cup, then another Euros. So we will see. And, as I have already said, if I see that the next generation is growing, for me there won't be a problem. I will cede my place to the younger ones."

Recently, former Belgium World Cup star Enzo Scifo described Hazard as the best Belgian player of all time.
