'Arsenal lost a great opportunity,' Unai Emery on 1-0 loss to Everton

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery believes that his side lost a "great opportunity" as their hopes of a top-four finish in the Premier League were dented after losing 0-1 to Everton on Sunday at Goodison Park.
Everton captain Phil Jagielka took advantage of an unexpected late recall to score the winner. The result moves Everton up to ninth but Arsenal missed the chance of going third in the table.
"We cannot think today we lost and we are very bad. I think it's a bad result, I think it's not a good performance today," said Emery.
"Our great opportunity was to be in the third position, at the moment we are fourth. I knew before it was going to be difficult," he added.
"We lost a big opportunity and also today we didn't show our best performance and we didn't show our capacity to impose our gameplan against them," he told journalists.
Unai Emery's side stay on 63 points, one behind Spurs, level with fifth-placed Chelsea and two clear of Manchester United in an increasingly tight battle for the Champions League berths.
