
On Monday, a part of the stage put up for the INDIA bloc's election campaign in Bihar crashed down, almost missing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
The event happened when Rahul Gandhi and other leaders of the INDIA bloc took the stage to address the crowd of people who had come to the opposition alliance's gathering.
Social media users shared a video of Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) politician Misa Bharti holding hands when the stage collapsed.

Thereafter, a security guard appeared to assist Rahul Gandhi. Gandhi assured him that he was alright and resumed waving to his supporters. Although the leaders lost their composure when the situation occurred, no one was hurt.
Monday's rally featured speeches by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, and other leaders. Gandhi repeated the promises made by the party in its 2024 Lok Sabha election manifesto.
“Under the Mahalaxmi scheme, women from poor families will get ₹1 lakh annually. Every educated youth's first job will be permanent, in which he will get ₹1 lakh annually. Farmers will getlegalguarantee of MSP, their loans will be waivedoff. Workers will get daily wages of ₹400 under the MNREGA scheme…" Gandhi said.
Gandhi took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that the latter is to blame for the nation's rising unemployment rate. "Narendra Modi has turned Indian soldiers intolabourersin the army," he stated.
