Looks like Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ will have a grander theatrical release than expected earlier as the film is most likely to release in close to 10000 screens globally. Yes, 10,000!
We informed you yesterday that ‘2.0’might topple the previous record-holder Prabhas’ ‘Baahubali’ in the highest number of screen release in India, hogging close to 6600-6800 instead of 6500 screens that ‘Baahubali 2’ had. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala has new information on the screens booked for the film and the number is 7500 in the domestic market. See posters.
The film has close to 2500 screens booked worldwide, taking the gross number to a staggering 10000.
