Pawan Kalyan touches Chiranjeevi's feet, hugs Ram Charan as he celebrates win at the assembly elections

Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan called on his elder brother, superstar Chiranjeevi and celebrated his historic political victory at Pithapuram in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections 2024 on Thursday. The actor returned home to Hyderabad after a meeting in New Delhi on Thursday and went to celebrate the momentous win with Chiranjeevi and family.
Video of the brothers meeting and the Konidela family celebrating is widely being shared on social media. The joy and pride the family shares in the video is palpable as they welcome the newly-elected MLA home with flowers and warms hugs.
Pawan Kalyan could be seen touching Chiranjeevi’s feet, a gesture of respect reserved for elders in India. He then cuts a cake with his nephews Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Sai Durgha Tej, niece Niharika Konidela, son Akira Nandan and other members of the family.
In a video shared by Pawan’s team on X, he arrives home with his wife, Anna Lezhneva, and son, Akira Nandan. He is showered with flower petals when he gets out of the car. Pawan then is greeted with a warm hug from Ram, Varun, his sister-in-law Surekha, Niharika, and his mother, Anjana Devi.
Pawan then bows down and touches his brother, actor Chiranjeevi’s feet. Chiranjeevi pulls his leg before garlanding him. After clicking pictures with all the family members, Pawan cuts a massive cake while Sai whistles in happiness. Anna can also be seen hugging Upasana Konidela and Pawan touches his mother and sister-in-law’s feet too.
Meanwhile, Pawan’s ex-wife and Akira’s mother, actress Renu Desai too shared a video on her Instagram explaining that their son made a video edit for his father.
