Jimmy Carter became the first US president to turn 100, but presidential candidate Donald Trump has chosen to take a dig at him instead of wishing him happy birthday. Speaking at a campaign event, the former US president said Carter is now considered a brilliant president when compared to current incumbent Joe Biden.
At the rally in Waunakee, Wisconsin, Trump said President Biden has replaced Carter as the worst president in American history.
"Jimmy Carter is the happiest man because Jimmy Carter is considered a brilliant president by comparison [with Biden]," Trump said about the 39th president, who is a Democrat.
This is not the first time that Trump attacked the former president. In May, at a campaign event in New Jersey, he misnamed him after former tennis star Jimmy Connors, while joking "he's also happy."

The Carter Center shared videos on X, showing Biden and other living former presidents Barack Obama, George W Bush and Bill Clinton wishing the former president happy birthday. There was no such thing from Trump.
It said in the post: We’re so grateful to Presidents Biden, Obama, Bush, and Clinton for contributing messages for President Carter’s 100th birthday concert. The audience was thrilled! Today, on President Carter’s actual birthday, we’re delighted to share excerpts from those with the world."
