US President-elect Donald Trump has warned Russian President Vladimir Putin against escalating the Ukraine war, emphasising "Washington's sizeable military presence in Europe." However, despite the call that happened on Thursday, both Russia and Ukraine launched record numbers of drone strikes on Sunday (Nov 10).
Trump also spoke with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, agreeing to work towards peace in Europe amid rising tensions.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has suspended all train operations to and from Quetta railway station after a deadly terrorist attack claimed 26 lives and injured 62.

Germany Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke to the US President-elect on Sunday by phone and “agreed to work towards a return to peace in Europe,” chancellor’s spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit said in a brief statement.
