After an order by Uttar Pradesh government, an FIR wasregistered on Thursday against the Unnao rape case accused Bharatiya Janata party MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The police has booked accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar under sections 363, 366, 376 ,506 and POCSO Act.
The twin cases of rape and the custodial death of the victim's father has been transferred to Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI).
Meanwhile, Police said the investigation willcontinueuntil the CBI takes over the case.
On Thursday, Home secretary held a press conferencewith other police officials in which the DGPreferred to the accused as 'mananiy vidhayak'(honarableMLA).

"The arrest of Kuldeep Singh will decided by CBI ashe is an accused and not a convict," DGP said during the press briefing.
The district magistrate of Unnao has also submitted a report to the state government on lapses on part of the district hospital in the custodial death of the victim's father.
Two doctors havebeen suspended for "negligence"in the case.
Based on the SIT report submitted by ADG Lucknow Zone Rajeev Krishna, the state government has also decided to suspend D K Dwivedi, CMS and Prashant Upadhyay, EMO.
"Disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against three doctors namely Manoj Kumar (ortho-surgeon), G P Sachan (surgeon) and Gaurav Agrawal (EMO) for laxity in giving proper medical care to the victim's father, both prior to judicial custody and on referral from jail to the district hospital while in judicial custody," he said the statement.
Circle Officer Safipur, Kunwar Bahadur Singh has also been suspended for negligence in handling the repeated complaints given by the victim
An 18-year-old woman had accused the BJP MLA ofallegedly raping her. Shefurthercomplained against police officers accusing them of mishandling her case.
The woman's father died in police custody on Monday after he was arrested for trying to self-immolate with his family outside Chief Minister Yogi Adtiyanath's Lucknow residence.
Following the investigation, the state governmentordered to the police to provide adequate security to the victim and her family.
