Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off a new bi-weekly train Humsafar Express. The train connects Katihar, Bihar to New Delhi. PM Modi was at the commemoration of the 'Satyagraha se Swachhagraha' campaign. 

The fully-airconditioned Humsafar Express is equipped with all the latest facilities like mobile charging points, reading lights, among others. The train was first launched in the year 2016 to operate between Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and Anand Vihar, Delhi.

The Humsafar Express comes studded with other facilities like baby nappy changing pads, LED display screens, a heating chamber, among other facilities. 

The train was launched commemorating the 100th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's Champaran Satyagarh.
