Fourth terror attack in Jammu in three days

Another terrorist attack was reported from India's Jammu region on Wednesday (June 12) as gunmen opened fire on Special Operations Group (SOG) camp in Tantna Gandow of the Doda district. Initial reports said at least one security officer was injured in the attack.

The development comes as intelligence agencies warned of terror and fidayeen (suicide) attacks on security forces camps and installations earlier in the day.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said earlierthe security forces and police will not rest till they eliminate all terrorists and their supporters from the UT.

Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been rocked byterror attacks over the last three days.

On Tuesday (June 11), Doda and Kathua were struck by two separate terror attacks, resulting in the death of a CRPF jawan and injuriestosix security personnel.

On Monday, a terror attack had targeted a bus carrying pilgrims from a shrine in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district. Tenpeople were killed in the attack.
