Authorities have foiled a ricin poison terror plot, arresting a doctor who allegedly planned attacks using the deadly toxin.
The investigation highlights the threat of chemical weapons in terror activities and the swift action of law enforcement agencies.

Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan, hired as a professor at Al-Falah University, had been dismissed by L-G Manoj Sinha in 2023 under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution that allows the government to terminate a public servant without a departmental inquiry in cases involving the security of state.
