The bus conductorAshok Kumar's family claimed that he wastortured,beaten up and forced to confess to the crime.

"The matter is being investigated and action will be taken against the guilty," Khattar said in Ambala.

Kumar was arrested by the Gurugram police after it was suspected that he was involved in killing the Ryan School student and was released after the court granted him bail recently.

In a sensational twist to the case, the agency recently announced that it had apprehended a senior student of Ryan International Schoolin connection with the murder of PradyumanThakur, rejecting the Gurugram police's theory that the killing was the handiwork of Ashok Kumar.

The CBI had arrested the 16-year-old student of Gurgaon's Ryan International School on charges of killing the class 2 student to get the school to defer a parent-teacher meeting and an exam.

Seven-year-old Pradhuman Thakur was murdered on September 8 and the case was with the Gurgaon police for 13 days before taken over by the CBI.
