Mumbai-based hip-hop dance group 'The Kings' have just made their presence felt in the world map. The dance crew has won NBC's dance reality show 'World Of Dance' which had celebrity judges Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough cheering for them. The 14-member crew took home prize money of 1 million dollars.

Canadian contemporary dancer Briar Nolet, the sister duo of Ellie and Ava, VPeepz, a hip-hop group from the Philippines, and Unity LA, a 10-person squad from Southern California, were also finalists on the show. The finale took place on 5th May.

The win doesn't come as a surprise for fans of the show as the group has been consistently doing well during its three-month long run.
The Kings that specialises in Bolly-hip-hop style started out from the streets of Mumbai in 2008, but shot to fame after winning 'India's Got Talent Season 3'. They secured a third place in World Hip-Hop Dance Championship 2015.

This is the third season of American reality show World of Dance which premiered in February 26, 2019, on NBC. Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough returned as the judges for their third consecutive seasons.

In the show, the group has performed to several Bollywood hit numbers including 'Tattad Tattad', 'Malhari' and 'Yeh Raat'.
