Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's decision to move back to the UK has a secret that has now been revealed. Hours after it was revealed the Duchess of Sussex is set to continue her acting work, Variety has now learnt that she is in talks to join the third season of Netflix's The Gentlemen.

Details about her acting project came hours after News.com.au reported that Markle's intention to return to acting was the reason the couple decided to move to the UK with their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. She was offered a role in an upcoming project based in the UK. More details are now out.

Meghan Markle to join Netflix show?

Markle left acting in 2018 just before saying, I Do, to Prince Harry in a royal wedding ceremony in UK. After almost 9 hours, the former actress may have decided to make a U-Turn to the world of acting. However, as per the reports, she's in talks to join Netflix's hit show in season 3. But, the talks are in the very initial stage, with no contract in place. No details are available on what role she will play in the show. But according to The Sun, she will appear as the “ultimate temptress” in the action comedy.

An insider has said: “The gossip in TV circles is that Meghan could play the ultimate temptress, who puts the cat among the pigeons by seducing an aristocrat.

The show has been filmed near the King's Highgrove Estate. And if these details turn out to be true, she will be filming right under the nose of Charles III.

The show premiered on March 7, 2024. And Meghan's joining season 3 comes just ahead of season 2 on Netflix on September 3.


This would be Markle’s first significant acting role since leaving Suits, in which she played the character Rachel Zane.
