Seems like singer and rapper Cardi B is the happiest person on the planet after US President Joe Biden stepped away from the presidential race.
Biden made the decision after several people, including celebrities, questioned his decision to stand for re-election despite his age and gaffes.
Cardi B has never shied away from expressing her views on public matters. In June, the "WAP" singer called out the Democratic Party for choosing Biden as their next presidential candidate, and labeled the party as "very selfish."
In her post, the rapper rooted for Vice President Kamala as the Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election.
Re-posting her June 30th post again, Cardi wrote in the caption, ''STOP PLAYING WIT ME!!!! Check the date.. said this on JUNE 30TH! been told y’all Kamala should’ve been the 2024 candidate. Y’all be trying to play the Bronx education, baby this what I do!!! Been my passion.. don’t let my accent fool y’all.''
Without mincing her words, Cardi B is in the video slamming the Democratic party's decision to let Biden seek re-election later this year.
Wait, what! Did The Simpsons predict Kamala Harris' presidential run?
“I feel like it was very selfish of Biden and the whole Democrat party that they allow Biden to continue to run for president,” she says in the video.
“I feel like they should have passed the torch to Kamala [Harris]. This was the perfect moment for her. Right now, I don’t feel like we have strong candidates.”
She continues, ''feel like this would have been her perfect time to shine. We already know she’s sharp with the f–king mouth. Whatever value that Biden wants, she’s practically the same value. So I feel like it was a little bit selfish to not make that choice to give her this moment to run for presidency.”
After being a vocal supporter of Joe in 2020 presidential election, Cardi in May told Rolling Stones that she's “layers and layers of disappointment” during the Biden administration.
Talking about Biden and Donald Trump, Cardi said, “I don’t f**k with both of y’all niggas.”
