The original Sarah Connor is back!
Going by social media reactions, fans are going crazy at director James Cameron’s announcement that Linda Hamilton, the first actor to portray the fan-favorite Connor in the “Terminator” franchise, will be returning to the world of killer robots.
This is how Twitter reacts to it:

Tonight James Cameron blew my mind by telling us that Linda Hamilton is returning to the Terminator franchise.— Rad Pitt (@JFCDoomblade) September 20, 2017
While a lot of people were excited about her comeback, there were some who didn't care at all:
I honestly don't care. The Terminator Franchise died years ago "Linda Hamilton"— Movies4Life (@Movies4LifeT) September 20, 2017
I think it's going to take more than Cameron, Hamilton & Arnie returning to save the #Terminator franchise. The ship sailed a long time ago!— Karl Sellers (@IamKarlwithaK) September 20, 2017

According to the director's announcement, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be involved with the movie (in some form).
The movie will be an action-packed movie just like its predecessor "Terminator 2: Judgement Day."
It is expected to be the first film in a new trilogy within the "Terminator" movie franchise as Cameron revealed that they were actively searching for new "18-something woman" to be the "centerpiece" of the new series.
