Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway in an Instagram post shut down body-shamers even before they could act and react after she posted a video of herself looking visibly fuller than before.
Hathaway posted a video of herself in an intense workout regime with a preemptive caption: "I am gaining weight for a movie role and it is going well. To all the people who are going to fat shame me in the upcoming months, it’s not me, it’s you. Peace xx."
She added: "I wanted to set this to Queen’s 'Fat Bottomed Girls' but copyright said no. Continued peace xx."
This is seen as a smart move as her contemporaries Rihanna and Amy Schumer was body-shamed in the recent past.

There is no update as of yet on the film that Hathaway is referring to, but she is reportedly starring in the upcoming sci-fi thriller ‘O2’, the Dee Rees-directed adaptation of Joan Didion novel ‘The Last Thing He Wanted’ and a remake of ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ alongside Rebel Wilson.
