"Suresh Raina is my favourite fielder. Virat Kohli has got an incredible arm. He is very competitive in the field. But, as a captain, he is always thinking about different things like bowling changes and field changes. So, I think that someone like Suresh Raina he reminds me of me. If I was a player now and I had a role model from the fielding point of view I would certainly look at Suresh Raina” - Jonty Rhodes, South African cricketer.
Suresh Raina is popular for his sharp reflexes when it comes to fielding. The biggest strength of Raina is his flexibility in terms of fielding positions, he easily gets settled at any fielding position - be it point, covers, long on, long off or the slip cordon.
His yesterday's flying catch against Sri Lanka will prove his fielding and catching abilities even after his comeback when he saw off Danushka Gunathilaka in the third over.

Shardul Thakur gave the necessary breakthrough when he dismissed Danushka but the credit goes to Suresh Raina when he took a magnificent catch in his super safe hands.
How athleticism can change a game! Raina makes his ground, then Lakmal doesn't reach a catch.— Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) March 12, 2018
Dinesh Karthik and Manish Pandey were cool and composed and India did it quite easily in the end. Raina's catch was outstanding . Easy victory. #SLvIND— Mohammad Kaif (@MohammadKaif) March 12, 2018
