IPL 2018 Final, Chennai vs Hyderabad | Team news, pitch report, confirmed squad
MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bowl against Hyderabad in the final of the eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League, at the Wankhede stadium on Sunday.
The two teams are facing each other for the fourth time in this year's edition. This is Chennai's seventh final in the 11 years of IPL nut they have managed to win only two times.
What the skippers say:
Kane Williamson - It is the final clash and the team will look to do the job. Get a competitive total and then assess the conditions. We are looking forward to the occasion.
MS Dhoni - The pressure would be more on the batting side. Also, the winning and losing is not something that you can always predict. The journey has been good.
Pitch report: Wankhede stadium is a batting pitch and a high scoring match is expected. The pitch has too many cracks and it will support the spinners. Don't worry, as there are no chances of rain today at Wankhede.
For Hyderabad, there are two changes Sandeep Sharma is back in the squad for the crucial game. Wicketkeeper batsmen Wriddhiman Saha is injured and Shreevats Goswami has filled in.
MS Dhoni has made just one change for tonight's match. Karn Sharma has been included in the squad at the place of Harbhajan Singh.
