IPL 2018: Ashwin opts to bowl against Kolkata

Ravichandran Ashwin won the toss and opted to bowl at the Eden Gardens Stadium. 

After winning the toss, Ashwin said, "We are going to bowl first. This is sort of a fortress for the Kolkata and we will try to restrict them to a decent total."

There is just one change in Punjab's squad, Ankit Rajpoot has replaced Mohit Sharma.

For Kolkata, there is not any change in the playing XI.

Dinesh Karthik said, "Looks a good wicket and it will remain same. We have made no changes. It's been a good start and it's important we stay consistent."

Showers are expected at the Eden Gardens Stadium but let's hope it doesn't affect tonight's match.
