Exiled PoK activist Nasir Aziz Khan has said that the unemployed in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir are soft targets for terrorists.

The people also protest against the regular cross-border firing.

Another PoK activist Mir Afzal Suleriahad said earlier that the locals in the area are being used as human shields. He said that the army uses their houses to fire gunshots and mortar shells across the border. Consequently, the counter firing from the other side is targetted on these houses, resulting in heavy casualty.

The protesters in PoK had earlier blamed the government and prime minister of the state Raja Farooq Haider for ceasefire violations and for deliberately provoking India for cross firing.
