PoK Protests Erupt:  At least 12 civilians have been killed as Pakistani security forces opened fire on protesters in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), marking one of the largest unrests in recent years. The demonstrations began over 38 unmet demands, including tax relief, subsidies on flour and electricity, and abolition of assembly seats reserved for Kashmiri refugees. Violence has spread across Muzaffarabad, Dadyal, Neelum Valley, and Kotli, leaving over 200 injured and several police personnel dead. Shops, markets, and communication services remain shut as protests continue. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed a negotiation panel and urged restraint, while activists appeal to the UN for urgent intervention.
