The most controversial movie of the year, Lipstick Under My Burkha’s trailer is out. The film has won several awards across the globe.
The cast of the Alankrita Shrivastava-directorial includes Konkona Sen Sharma, Ratna Pathak Shah and Sonal Jha, among others.
The film ran into a major roadblock when the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) refused to grant it a certificate for allegedly containing "lady oriented" and "abusive words".
