PM Modi to inaugurate 'Parakarm Parv' at Jodhpur marking two years of surgical strike

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Jodhpur on Friday morning.

He will inaugurate the Army exhibition 'Parakarm Parv' at Jodhpur Military Station today, marking the second anniversary of the surgical strike across the LoC.

Modi upon his arrival visited the Konark stadium and also laid a wreath at Konark War Memorial. He signed the visitors book at Konark War Memorial.

After the inauguration, he will be participating in the conference at the Jodhpur Force Station.

The conference will also be attended by Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the three services chiefs, besides several key military and civil officials of the Ministry of Defence.
