Skyrocketing pollution levels caused by a combined effect of smoke from stubble burning and moisture have turned Delhi into a "gas chamber" forcing authorities to order all primary schools in Delhi to remain closed today.A number of schools in Delhi have suspended outdoor activities and advised parents to ensure their children wear masks.
India claim first T20 series win over New Zealand
Virat Kohli's India beat New Zealand in a tense eight over a side clash to take a first T20 series against the Kiwis and strengthen their claim to be the world's best team.
While Manish Pandey hit 17 off 11 balls, Hardik Pandya made 14 and Kohli 13 in India's 67-5, the home side owe a particular debt to man-of-the-match bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the six run victory.

In a shocking incident, IndiGo staff allegedly manhandled a passenger at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. The video of the ground staff of IndiGo Airways manhandling the passenger went viral on social media. The incident had taken place last month on October 15. An airline employee who tried to intervene and shot the video of the incident has been fired by the airline, reports said.

"We're expanding the character limit! We want it to be easier and faster for everyone to express themselves," tweeted the site, which started testing an increase to its 140-character limit in most languages in early September.

US President Donald Trump slammed North Korea's "cruel dictatorship" and the severe political oppression inflicted by the regime in his speech to Seoul's parliament on Wednesday.
