
Ladakh Lok Sabha Election 2024 Schedule and Date: In India, the 17th Lok Sabha term will expire on June 16 this year and elections for the 18th Lok Sabha will be held in seven phases, starting on April 19 and ending on June 1. The results will declared on June 4.
Campaign for Lok Sabha polls, the festival of democracy in India, are in full swing across the nation, but polls in Ladakh are among those most talked about as it will mark the first independent elections after it was separated from Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and declared a Union Territory.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) on March 16 declared the voting dates and the announcement of results for the upcoming Lok Sabha 2024 election of all constituencies.
The 2024 Lok Sabha election in Ladakh will be held on May 20, 2024, to elect the lone member.
The Ladakh Lok Sabha seat, spread over Kargil and Leh districts, will go to polls in the fifth phase. Nearly 300,000 voters form the electorate for the Ladakh seat.
The notification date for the Ladakh Lok Sabha seat is April 26. The last date for filing a nomination is May 3. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is May 6.

Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) are the two main parties contesting in Ladakh.

Indian National Congress (INC) led by Nawang Rigzin Jora.
NDA:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Jamyang Tsering Namgyal.
