The Academy Awards are set to take place on March 15, and ahead of the ceremony, host Conan O'Brien has revealed that there's going to be a special tribute on Oscar night for his late friend Rob Reiner, who was murdered in December at age 78.
The 98th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and several stars are set to gather under one roof to celebrate and honour the best of cinema.

Speaking about the tribute, which he called, ''hard to sum up,'' the comedian added,"But it's going to be a very powerful part of the show.''
During the press conference on Wednesday, Oscars producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan also talked about the "in memoriam," which they said will be longer than previous ceremonies.
"I guess we can't really go into detail of what it's gonna be this year, but we really hope that it is a tribute that moves people and feels like it does the incredible people we've lost this year justice," Mullan shared.
Rob and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, attended O'Brien's holiday party with their son Nick in Los Angeles on December 13. This was the same party where Rob and his son got into arguments, which led to the events of Nick, 32, allegedly murdering his parents.
Nick, the third of Rob Reiner's four children, was arrested the same night after his parents were found dead with stab wounds on Dec 14 at their home in Los Angeles. He has been held without bail since his arrest.
In Feb, Nick pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in connection with their deaths. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 29, when prosecutors will put forward evidence and the judge will decide whether the case will go to trial.
