India beat England in the final

In a contest that was the repeat of the 2022 T20 World Cup semifinal, India was in no mood to repeat their mistakes as they dismantled England left, right and centre. Tasked to defend 172 runs, India bowled out England for 103 in 16.4 overs as Kuldeep Yadav (19/3) and Axar Patel (23/3) saw Rohit Sharma’s men through to the final. Harry Brook (25) and Jos Buttler were the only English batters to show some fight on the day, but India was not holding back as they now look to end their ICC trophy drought.

Asked to bat first after losing the toss, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was once again on fire as he scored 57 off 39 and was seen in great form before being scalped by Adil Rashid.
