A shooting on Wednesday outside the US National Security Agency headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland wounded three people.
The shooting reportedly took place after a black car rammed a barrier around NSA building.
At least three people were shot and wounded, and one person is now in custody. The investigation into the attack is currently underway.
A black SUV appeared to have crashed into a concrete barrier surrounding the site, and bullet holes were visible in the vehicle's front windows.
It was not immediately clear if the incident was directly connected to NSA or NSA personnel, although the incident shut down traffic along the stretch of Route 32 by the NSA campus, preventing NSA workers who use that route from entering the grounds.

"NSA police and local law enforcement are addressing an incident that took place this morning at one of NSA's security vehicle entry gates. The situation is under control and there's no ongoing security or safety threat," an NSA statement said.
US President Donald Trump has been briefed on the incident, according to a White House spokeswoman.
But in early 2015, two people were shot at by NSA police when they disobeyed orders outside the heavily secured campus. One driver died at the scene after NSA police opened fire on a stolen sports utility vehicle. Authorities later said they had stolen a car from a man who picked them up for a party at a motel.
