WION is tracking all the latest updates in the United States (US) presidential election. At the time of writing the morning brief, Trump has maintained an overall lead in the election, winning over 50 per cent of votes, projections show.
The family of an Iranian-German prisoner who died on November 5 said they do not trust anything said by the Iranian government about his fate.Last week, Iran announced that the 69-year-old Jamshid Sharmahd was executed. Butan Iranian judiciary spokesperson said hehad died in prison before his death sentence could be implemented.
Coming back to US elections, Florida ballot measure that would have paved the way for enshrinement of abortion rights in the state constitution failed to meet the required 60 per cent threshold in a huge setback to abortion rights advocates.
