Morning brief: Here's a look at the top stories.
The United States expressed its "incredible concern" about North Korean troops deployed in Russia. During a press conference, the US State Department said North Korea's decision will lead“to continue Russia's brutal war against Ukraine”. The US also confirmed in the conference that as many as 10,000 soldiers have been transferred by North Korea to Russia.
Talking about the West Asia crisis, the US said Israel was not violating US laws regarding humanitarian aid in Gaza. But the US further "urged" Israel to improve the situation in the region by allowing more humanitarian aid in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, US-President elect Donald Trump announced Elon Musk andformer Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will lead the Department of Government Efficiency "(DOGE).""DOGE" is a new department in the US administration introduced by Republicans that will be taking care of cutting federal waste.
