Melania Trump jumps to Donald Trump's defence: 'He's not Hitler'

Melania Trump made asurprise appearance at Donald Trump's Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday.While speaking to Fox News' “Fox & Friends”on Tuesday (Oct 29), respondingto all the criticisms directed at her husband, she defended him by saying he is "not Hitler." Shespoke out to support her husband.
She said comparing her husband to Hitler was “terrible”. "He's not Hitler, and all of his supporters, they're standing behind him because they want to see (the) country successful, and we see what kind of support he has," she added, reported by AFP.
John Kelly, Trump's former White House chief of staff had earlierquoted Trump as saying that "Hitler did some good things too" and he "wanted generals like Adolf Hitler had," reported news agencyAFP.

Trump replied to the comments made by his rivals and told supporters on Monday by saying, "I'm not a Nazi. I'm the opposite of a Nazi".
She also mentioned that her husband was aware of her support for abortion rights and was not a surprise to him when her thoughts were published in her new book. She said on Tuesday that her husband knew about her stance long before it came out publicly.

"My husband knew my position, my belief, since the day we met," she said. "So it was not a big surprise for him. I guess other people in the world didn't know where my stands were, but he was not surprised at all. He knew about it,” cited by AFP.
Melania expressed her emotions towards the current White House campaign and said that several assassination attacks on her husband made this campaign dangerous.
She said, "I'm very vigilant and very selective where I go, and what I do.I always say to him, you know, good luck and be safe," she added.
