Biden's vacay mode astonishes Americans as prez takes 532 leaves during 1,326 days in office

United States President Joe Biden's vacations have left Americans astonished, as the leader was seen on beaches almost as many days as he was in the office.

The 81-year-old commander-in-chief has taken 532 vacation days in a span of less than four years, which is almost 40 per cent of the 1,326 days he has remained in office.

An average American gets 11 days of vacation in a year, which means they will need to work approximately 48 years to accumulate 532 vacation days, according to datacompiled by the Republican National Committee.

“The image of Biden fast asleep and lying flat on his back in his chair at the beach while America and the world are on fire will define the Biden presidency,” said Mark Paoletta, who was White House budget office's general counsel under former president Donald Trump.

“Inflation has been out of control; prices still way too high; our border overrun with millions of illegal aliens committing violent crimes on our citizens; the world in a perilous state; and all Biden wants to do is go on vacation and check out — for more than 530 days,” he added.

The RNC stated that Biden was having fun in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware last Saturday which was his “16th straight day on vacation.”

According to media reports, Biden has been maintaining a lower public profile since late July after withdrawing his candidacy from the presidential elections.

Biden breaks vacation records of all previous US presidents

Biden was on personal overnight trips away for all or part of 382 days of his first 957 days of presidency, which made him the most idle commander-in-chief of the United States, reported The New York Post.

Biden’s 40% out-of-office ratio has surpassed the record of former president Donald Trump, who used 26% of his presidency for going on personal trips.

Meanwhile, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama were on vacation for just 11% of their two-term presidencies and Jimmy Carter took off on79 days, which was 5% of his single term in office.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis said that Biden should do a favour to Americans by taking more time off.

“We probably would have been better off if he did even less and went on vacation more,” Malliotakis said.

“Sadly, he repealed president Trump’s border policies, lifted sanctions on Iran that enriched them, and implemented anti-energy policies that drove up the cost gas, food and utility bills. If he just left things alone, things would be better," she added.

Meanwhile, White House spokesman Andrew Bates said, “It’s not a surprise that the same geniuses who attack President Biden for petting hero dogs and liking ice cream can’t count, but he has taken fewer vacation days than the modern average for presidents and works hard every day, wherever he is.”
