In India, Organ donation is regulated by theTransplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act of 1994, which allows everyone to donate organs. Registering for Organ Donation in India is a simple process. The process can be completed online by filling out the pledge form by Organ India, where you will receive a unique government registration number and a donor card from the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation.

Guide to register as an Organ Donor:

1. Online Pledge form: The form is available on the Organ India website: https://www.organindia.org/pledge-to-be-an-organ-donor/. After filling out the form, you will receive a unique government registration number with a donor card.

2. National Registration: All online pledges made are registered with the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO), ensuring your form is registered officially.

3. Family Consent: Family consent is an important step while registering as an organ donor.
