
Ganesh Chaturthi 2024:Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most celebrated festivals in India. This year, it isstarting from September 7. The festival is celebrated with utmost joy and intense fervour in Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai. The city comes together and celebrates with huge pandals of Lord Ganesha, cultural performances, music, and colourful processions. The city is known for some famous lord Ganesha Idols, including Lalbaugcha Raja(the King of Lalbaug).
The iconic pandal was established in 1934 and is visited bymillions of devotees every year. The devotees from all around the countrywaitfor hoursto seek his blessings. The pandal is famous for its magnificent decorations with a new theme every year, often depicting social messages. Lalbaugcha Raja is also known as ‘Navsacha Ganpati,’ meaning the one who fulfils wishes.
The huge pandal of Lalbaugcha Raja is located in Putlabai Chawl, Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal. They are celebrating their91st year in 2024.
Darshan for the devotees will begin at 5:00 AM and go on till11:00 PM.

Morning Pooja: 6:00 AM –7:00 AM
Afternoon Pooja: 1:00 PM –2:00 PM
Evening Pooja: 7:00 PM –8:00 PM
Aarti Timings:
Morning Aarti: 7:00 AM – 7:15 AM
Afternoon Aarti: 1:00 PM – 1:15 PM
Evening Aarti: 7:00 PM – 7:15 PM

This year, the organisers have made it easier for the devotees to get the sacred prasad at their homes. The facility of ordering prasad online is available for people living in Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai. Devotees can order prasad from Jio Mart. The package will include two boondi laddus for ₹51 with no extra taxes, delivery charges, and minimum order requirement.
