Indian captain Virat Kohli is inch-closer to add another feather in his illustrious cap as he is bidding to become the fastest to cross the 20,000 international runs.
So far Virat has scored 19,896 and will look to achieve the feat in India's World Cup match against Afghanistan which is scheduled for June 22.
Kohli, who is just 104 runs away from reaching the 20,000-run mark will break the record of India's Sachin Tendulkar and West Indies' Brian Lara.
As the record for the fastest to 20,000 international runs has joint holders Tendulkar and Lara, both having achieved this feat in 453 innings.
The 30-year-old has played only 415 innings so far 222 in ODIs, 131 in Tests and 62 in T20Is.
In the 415 innings, Kohli has scored 11020 runs in ODIs, 6613 in Tests and 2263 in T20Is.
