
Pakistan will take on Bangladesh in the 43rd match ofICC World Cup 2019 on Friday at Lord's, London.
This will be the ninth and the final league match for both the teams.
Pakistan, whose chances of qualifying for the semifinals received a major setback after England beat New Zealand by 119 runs on Wednesday, have a nearly impossible task to qualify for semifinals.
Pakistan at the moment are placed fifth on the points table with nine points while Bangladesh are on the seventh with seven points.
In World Cup history, both have previously clashed only once in the 1999 World Cup, and Bangladesh defeated Pakistanby 62 runs in the clash.
Pakistan and Bangladesh have faced each other 36 times in the One Day International format, with Pakistan having an upper hand over Bangladesh.
Pakistan have won 31 out of the 36 matches while Bangladesh have managed to defeat themfive times which includes aclean sweep in a 3 match ODI series in 2014–15.
They will take on each other at the 2019 World Cup on July 5 at Lord's in London.
