COVID-19: Nepal records highest spike in last 24 hours

Nepal records 17 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Nepal is close to crossing the 100 mark for positive coronavirus cases as the total has increased to 99.
The number increased after a total of 17 cases were reported in the past 24 hours. This is the highest spike in the number of positive cases in a day for Nepal, according to the Health Ministry.

Out of 99 cases, 22 patients have recovered and have been discharged. Nepal hasn't reported any coronavirus-related death, till now.
In the last couple of days, 16 cases were registered in a day, out of which, 15 were already quarantined as they had been in contact with a person who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat in March.
These 15 people, eight men and seven women, belong to the western region of Nepal and are under treatment now.
