Indian security forces gunned all three terrorists after they attacked a Border Security Force (BSF) camp near Srinagar airport early morning on Tuesday.
One BSF soldier injured during the attack died later, agency reports said.
All three terrorists were gunned down by security forces during the encounter inside the camp, reports said.

The security forces are now carrying out combing operations in the area in order to ensure no other terrorist is hiding near the BSF camp.
Earlier, there were reports of intermittent firing inside the camp with a building where the terrorists were hiding cordoned by CRPF and BSF soldiers.
Security forces carried out "flush out drills" against the terrorists in the camp, BSF said.
"Terrorists tried to barge into a BSF battalion campus, our soldiers retaliated," BSF official said.
"Terrorists are now holed up in a building inside the campus," the official added.
Agency reports said the attack carried on BSF's 182 battalion was a suicide attack.
Meanwhile, passengers are now being allowed to move towards Srinagar airport after it was temporarily closed following the attack on the BSF camp nearby.
Kashmir Valley school which is in the camp area has been closed.
After the terrorist attack near Srinagar airport, airports across metro cities have been put on high alert.
Home minister Rajnath Singh is also in touch with police officials who are conducting the operations in Srinagar.
