
Pakistani troops violated ceasefire on Monday in Jammu and Kashmir's Kamalkote sector of Uri town, news agency ANI reported.
Another ceasefire violation from the Pakistani side was reported on Thursday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir.
The ceasefire violated along the Poonch sector's Chakan da Bagh incited the Indian army to retaliate.
No casualty or damage of property was reported.
The frequency of ceasefire violations by Pakistan has increased dramatically in the past few years.
According to Minister of State (MoS) fot Defence, Subhash Bhamre, Pakistan violated ceasefire a total of 152 times in 2015 that went up to 228 in 2016 and a whopping 860 in 2017.
Pakistan had already violated ceasefire 942 times this year till July.
