The heavy downpour continued to lash Mumbai on Monday which leads to water-logging at Andheri subway.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai, has forecast that the city will receive rainfall the whole day at irregular intervals.

Rainfall has also disrupted the traffic across the city.

Earlier today, an airport spokesperson said that heavy rains have caused poor visibility and delay in flight operations at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

"Due to heavy rains, the visibility is changing every minute. Since 9:15am today, the visibility at the airport has been fluctuating. There is a delay due to the weather. There has been no flight cancellation. However, three diversions have taken place," the spokesperson said.

A compound wall collapsed on the hutments built on a hill slope in Kurar Village in area of Malad East due to heavy downpour last week which killed around 24 people.
