A Jodhpur court will pronounce its judgment Thursday in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case involving Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Kothari.
With almost Rs 500 crores riding on Salman Khan, it is a crucial case for the megastar. He has Race 3, Bharat and Dabbang 3 in the pipeline. He will also be hosting TV show Das ka Dum along with endorsements of at least 10 brands. If he is convicted, he could face up to six years in prison, which could affect his ongoing and future projects.
According to the case, Salman Khan is accused of killing two blackbucks in Bhagoda ki Dhani in Kankani village near Jodhpur on the night of October 1, 1998 -- during the shooting of their film Hum Saath Saath Hain. He is currently facing charges under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act. It is the last standing case against Salman Khan.
As the other actors were present with him during the act, they have also been charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act.
The actors reached Jodhpur on Wednesday separately -- Salman Khan with sisters Alvira Agnihotri and Arpita Khan while Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Kothari were spotted exiting the airport sans company.

All actors looked grim as Saif Ali Khan was seen talking roughly with his driver yesterday while exiting the Jodhpur airport on arrival. He said, “Sheesha upar karo aur reverse kar lo warna padegi ek” (meaning rollup the windows and reverse the car or else you’ll get one).

It was also reported that a fan misbehaved with Tabu as she arrived in Jodhpur. She was visibly shaken with the incident even though security came to her rescue within minutes.
