<p>Continuing his saying about the <i>Salaam Namastey</i> actor, Priyadarshan revealed a habit that is often difficult to find among actors. He said that Saif reads books between shots instead of being glued to his phone. This is my first time playing evil in the truest sense. "I really wanted to be with Tim. He was giving me a lot of strength and calm. I said, 'Will you come with me?' He looked at me and said, 'Are you gonna die?' I said, 'No... there's something in my back that hurts a lot, but I'm not gonna die.' We went to the hospital together in an auto rickshaw."</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Speaking about the severity of his injuries, he revealed, "He basically broke a cheap kitchen knife on my backbone. A six-inch part of the blade got lodged into my vertebra and nicked the spinal cord. That's how close I came to getting paralysed."</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Reflecting on the incident today, Saif shared that his family has largely healed and that forgiveness has helped them move forward.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>"Jeh gave me a plastic sword and said, 'Sleep with this next time.' Maybe if I had put the lights on and said, 'You know where you are and you know what you're doing,' I could have made him talk it out. I don't know what took over, but I jumped on him. Not brilliance alone - but composure. He believed leadership was not about commanding attention, but about earning trust by being open and above all fair," he shared.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>"He believed in belief - instilling self belief in Indian players who had never before been told they could dominate world cricket. At a time when Indian teams were expected merely to participate, he insisted they compete to win. The film will have an all-India re-release in select theatres on August 29, 2025, exclusively for a week.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Chopra Films is the first production house in India to restore its entire film library in 8K resolution, with soundtracks remastered in 5.1 surround sound, a meticulous process that took over four years to complete. <p>The whole nation was shaken up when they woke up to the news that actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by a burglar who snuck into his Bandra home in the wee hours on January 16 this year. The Bollywood actor was attacked with a knife by an unidentified man who stabbed him six times during a tussle.
